Which version is on the machine and which version do you have?
Is this the full zip or just the update file?
The full zip will have a pdf with the instructions in it.

Thanks for responding so fast, the firmware that I have was giving to me, but no PDF file on it.
They gave me for all toshiba models, but it seem that it's updated.
Really don't know this copier to much, but basics.
I change HDD because machine did not came out of "WAIT WARMING" someone suggested to change HDD.
Need help.
Thanks

Place the correct files on a compatible thumb drive and turn the machine on in upgrade mode.
It may take a few seconds for the screen to change and you can then choose the option to upgrade.

1 male sure the files are for the copier in question if not you will need a system pwb to recover the error.
2 install files on to a 512mb (or less) thumb drive in the root directory
3 hold clear and 3 down while turning on the copier then select option 3
4 turn off copier
5 insert the thumb drive into the usb port above the nic card (behind a plate or remove the print/scan enabler and use that port)
6 power on while holding 4 and 9
7 watch screen for up to 5 minutes
8 when the update screen comes up make sure the * is next to all options and press start. If the * is not there then press the number next to that opition.
9 got take lunch and come back in 20 minutes.
10 if anything fails you will need to replace that pwb.
11 power off and remove the thumb drive
12 power on in 08 mode and run 947 initialize then 690 start 2 enter(on screen)
13 power off then on..:realmad::realmad::realmad::realmad:

Alien1965, the copier give me a "INFALTE ERROR, PLEASE CHANGE USB STRAGE". I'm beginning to think that the firmware is not complete or not correct. Because I just used ours same intructions for a Toshiba E-Studio 352 that has the same problem and everything went smooth on the instalation.
Do you have correct firmware for the Toshiba E-Studio 450.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Rad

Make sure the thumb drive is format in fat not fat32. The e352 will take it either way but the 450 will only use fat.
Also the firmware is not the same for both of these machines.
