Black drum reached end of life, installed new one, started shooting blanks. Suspected bad unit, replaced with another new one to the same result. Auto calibration failed. Tried a memory clear, no joy. Color demo page prints O.K., with the exception that there is no BLACK! I considered doing a laser skew adjustment, but I can't print the existing settings because there is no f!#**!!ing BLACK! I did a dev set using SP, still nothing. If anyone has encountered this problem and has a solution I sure would appreciate a response. My customer uses this unit to print their company paychecks and they are getting kinda ANXIOUS, if you know what I mean.

For those of you who work on these, turns out the black drum unit charge corona roller drive gear wears out...it's mounted on the shaft with a "D" hole thru it, the hole got rounded out so the charge roller wasn't turning. Replacement part GB01 1082.
