At least you didnt wake up with a flat tire. A tip for that much needed cup of coffee. Remove the basket from the said POS coffee maker and set in on top of your cup and pour some boiling water over it. Wu-la, cup of coffee. I know this works. I used to be a bachelor. :tiphat:

a bad cup of coffee is better than no coffee.

I would probably either go home and make a pot and fill my mug or go to walmart and get a new one.

Dont get the expensive one will all the bells and whistles. Get the cheap Mr. Coffee that has been around from the 60's.

I just want a coffee pot that pours hot water over coffee grounds.

I have just found that the expensive gimicks do not work as well as a old proven way of doing it.

Get on old Mr. Coffee. The damn things work. We have a "Expensive" what ever brand it is at the shop and with the expesive filters and and the crap coffe they get it just pisses me off ( not really - see post above ).

When they broke into my house I went and get a medium / expensive thing and it sucks. I am ready to put it out and go get an old one my self.

I just want hot water poured over a bed of 8 O;Clock coffee. I can turn it on. I can monitor how may grounds I pour in. I just want a damn cup of coffee.

We have a commercial Bunn coffee maker at work that works GREAT. It has not been used in a long time due to the fact that even though I was the only coffee drinker, the coffee and fixins would end up gone so I quit making coffee at work. I'm at the shop now on a Saturday morning looking for MY bottle of Gorilla Glue that I BOUGHT. It's not to be found. So now I'm boxing up any and all of the shit that belongs to me and taking it home. You try to do the shop a favor and you get fucked every time.

camp coffee

Beat two fist fulls of coffee beans against a rock until you get a nice "grind"

pour coffee grounds and water in a pan.

Let water almost boil. Simmer for a couple of minutes.

Throw egg shells in.

Pour a nice hot cup of coffee on a camp out.

24 dude it's all your fault!!..lol. our pot started to leak yesterday. I didn't know it was leaking i think Jeannie kept it from me.. didn't get a chance to fix it. the last one that sprung a leak i fixed with JB WELD..she didn't like that. got another 8 months out of it. Told me she was going to trade me in for someone that cant fix stuff. not the first time i heard that. but in the end she scored got a new Bunn for 49.00 from a new place around the corner. i was in there over the weekend they buy pallets of over stock and returns.
cool place. But i'm wondering ware she got the money? Keith she hooken again? ROTF.
Now i gotta find another way to piss her off in the morning. i know... offer her 3 minutes of total disapointment. same amount of time it takes to make 10 cups of Joe..ROTFF

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Home-brewed coffee lovers, take note: More than a million coffee makersare being recalled after dozens of reports of the brewers spraying hot liquid, coffee grounds or tea leaves onto people.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there have been 140 reports of problems with theTassimo single-cup brewers dousing people, including 37 cases involving second-degree burns. In one incident, a 10-year-old girl from Minnesota was hospitalized with second-degree burns to her face and neck.
The coffee maker's "T-disc," the plastic disc that holds the coffee or tea, can burst while brewing, according to the commission. It also announced the recall Thursday of some 4 million packages of Tassimo espresso T-discs.
About 835,000 Tassimo coffee makers are on recall in the United States; another 900,000 are being recalled in Canada. The recall involves brewers made by California-based BSH Home Appliances Corp. that carry the Bosch and Tassimo Professional brand names.
The 4 million packages of Tassimo espresso T-discs, manufactured by Kraft Foods Global Inc., in Illinois, were recalled after 21 reports of problems.
CPSC says the plastic discs of coffee can become clogged, rupture and spray hot liquid. In Canada, a 2-year-old girl suffered second-degree burns to her face.
About 2 million of the recalled disc packages were distributed in the U.S.; the rest were in Canada.
