Hi,

I bought this last year, but it's been sitting unused for the best part of a year since then for various reasons. Finally, I've got round to using it. Unfortunately, something seems to have gone wrong with the ink loading - basically, the ink just oozes into the area in front of the drum. It doesn't go into the drum. Now, it was tested and demonstrated before I bought it and I know it used to work, so I don't know how this happened.

Does anyone have any ideas? I can't see a way to sort it out without opening it up and spooning out the ink, cleaning up and trying to unblock/reconnect... but I'm clueless.

Photos show the mess it's made, and where. You can just about make out the mound of inaccessible ink in the box in the second photo.

I'd just buy another drum, if only it were that easy

Any help much appreciated! Thank you!

As I see it in your pictures, one of the hoses in the pump is gone (cracked). is either the one from the ink cartridge nozzle to the pump or the one from the pump to the drum main entrance, in either case you need to disassemble it and cleaned excess spilled ink, and replaced the hose/s accordingly.
