I recently put a new ink cartridge in an old drum and I'm getting an error code (c63) that says I'm using the wrong ink. According to my research, I'm using the right ink. Any ideas what else could be causing the error?

1) If a wrong type of ink cartridge is set in the machine.
Make sure it is riso brand gr 1700 ink.
Did you buy offbrand through your research?

Sorry for the delay!
The ink is all brand name Riso. I bought the machine and ink from a church. They hadn't used it in a few years, but the ink cartridge is brand new.
I hadn't tested this drum before, is it possible that's the problem?
