anyone work on these?
I have one that keeps locking up the clamp bar. I have to take the break off and then it will work after for a few months then lock up again.
It's already had a new break, i can't find anything the customer is doing wrong.
Today after taking the break off and putting it back on, doing the alignment i made confetti from a large stack of paper, running the unit non stop.
Ideas??

i thought of that...but...it only has an upper home switch and it's getting stuck in the down position. It dosent seem to have a current feedback, just is ON applying pressure then held by the brake when the cutter comes down. Seems like he brake is getting stuck but i don't see how. Overheating perhaps ?
Tech support said the brakes should last years

Solved!
It was the clamp assy, something was bent or out of align.
The entire clamp assy had to be replaced, fun to do by yourself, the damn thing is heavy!
